King Biscuit Time - I Walk The Earth (2000)

King Biscuit Time is some of the solo material of Steve Mason, a Scottish musician. I Walk The Earth is from the second EP of King Biscuit Time, No Style. At the time of writing, I only knew this single song by King Biscuit Time, having heard it on the Ministry of Sound Chillout Session 2.

Prior to King Biscuit Time, Steve Mason was a member of The Beta Band, an example of this band's work includes Squares (2002).

The release of the single of Squares was pushed back some months when it was discovered that I Monster's Daydream In Blue (2001) contained the same sampled lyric "Daydream, I fell asleep amid the flowers" and accompanying riff.

This riff has its origin in the 1969 track Daydream by the Belgian pop rock group Wallace Collection.

More recently, the I Monster version was sampled to form the basis of the Lupe Fiasco track Daydreamin' (2006).
